HUARAZ
Altitude: 3052 m.a.s.l.
Access::
- Air: non regular flights depart to anta airport (Carhuaz) and fast approximately 35 minutes.
- Overland: Bus: the better route is Lima – Pativilca – Huaraz for approximately 7 hours.
Huaraz is the capital city of Ancash; it is made up two mountain ranges: the ‘cordillera negra’ and the ‘cordillera Blanca’, the latter considered the highest in the world.

HUASCARAN NATIONAL PARK
The highest mountain range of the world, holding the Huascarán peak (6768 m.a.s.l.) and the second highest in South America, one of the mountains that draws more visitors is the Huascarán.
Its natural attractions are the exotic flora and fauna, lagoons, snow peark and thermal water springs.
CHAVIN DE HUANTAR ARCHEOLOGICAL COMPLEX:
An archeological complex made of store where you can find the ‘Cabezas Clavas’ (keystones of projecting blocks shaped as human heads) litho sculptures that have human and animal features, and the lanzon monolitics, a 5 meter – high dagger like rock.
HUAYWASH RANGE
One of the 10 most spectacular circuits of the world, 50 km. to the south of the white Mountain range.
